General Arrangement Drawings are produced on Multisuite - a specialised steelwork 2D CAD package based on Autocad. These arrangements are then used as a point of reference to identify and resolve as much outstanding information as possible prior to commencing detailing.

A 3D model is prepared on the latest version of StruCad (currently Version 15). The fabrication issue would comprise of fabrication drawings, fittings sketches, assembly drawings, material lists, bolt lists, load lists, cold rolled CAM data (sent directly to the cold rolled supplier if preferred)

On completion of detailing, I will issue a series of 3D Marking plans and a "StruWalker" model, which you can send on to your clients, enabling them to take a virtual tour through the steel skeleton of their building. (Requires downloading a Freeware package)

Fabrication packages can be e-mailed, with hard copies either hand delivered or sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure that the drawings land on your desk the very next morning.

Even though detailing may be complete, I do not class a project as finished until the steel is fully erected, and always give full and immediate attention to any issues that arise during fabrication or installation - a fact that has gained me praise from my existing clients.
